Appliance Damaged, Not Working, or Parts are Missing at Delivery

If you are buying appliances from our site, our delivery agents will inspect your appliance for any visible damage. After installation, they will test your appliance for proper operation. If any damage is discovered, parts are missing, the wrong appliance was delivered, or if your appliance is not working properly, the delivery agents will discuss your options with you. 


Make sure to examine and test your appliances before the delivery agent leaves: 

  • Refrigerator: Make sure the lights are on and water is dispensing from dispenser (if applicable). It can take up to 24 hours for temperatures to reach the set temperature.  
  • Icemaker: A refrigerator icemaker will fill with water when it cools to 15°F (-10°C); it could take 12 to 24 hours to begin making ice cubes.
  • Ranges & Microwaves: Make sure the controls are operating as indicated and the appliance is heating properly.
  • Dishwasher: Make sure the controls are operating as indicated and the unit fills with water and drains properly.


If you notice any damage or your appliance is not working correctly, raise any issues at the time of delivery with your delivery agent. If you’ve noticed an issue after you’ve already signed off on delivery, contact our appliance agents at 1-800-430-1757 Monday-Saturday: 8am-8pm EST so that we can determine next steps.
