How does the in-oven camera help me cook?

On select CAFÉ induction ranges, the in-oven camera sends a live view of your food to the SmartHQ™ app on your smartphone. You can check cooking progress from another room or while you are away without opening the oven door, helping keep heat inside while you monitor roasts, baked dishes, and other recipes.

Can I customize the hardware on CAFÉ electric ranges?

Select CAFÉ electric ranges in the Customizable Professional Collection let you personalize compatible knobs and handles. Start with a Matte White, Matte Black, or Stainless Steel appliance, then choose from six hardware finishes: Brushed Stainless, Brushed Bronze, Brushed Black, Brushed Copper, Flat Black, or Brushed Brass. Hardware options and compatibility vary by model.

How does the sous-vide probe work on a CAFÉ range?

On compatible CAFÉ induction ranges, the Sous-Vide Probe pairs with the range through Bluetooth and monitors the temperature of the water bath. The induction element automatically adjusts to maintain the selected temperature between 100°F and 200°F, within 1°F. This precise control supports sous-vide cooking as well as simmering, poaching, and other temperature-sensitive techniques. The probe is sold separately for applicable models.

What is Smart Sauté?

Smart Sauté is a precision cooking feature available on select compatible induction models. It works with Bluetooth-enabled smart cookware, such as a compatible Hestan Cue pan, which measures the pan’s temperature and communicates with the range. The induction element adjusts to help maintain the selected temperature, giving you more control when searing, sautéing, or simmering. Compatible cookware may be sold separately.

Is the Platinum Glass finish easy to maintain?

Yes. The smooth Platinum Glass exterior is designed for easy cleaning. For everyday care, wipe the exterior with a soft microfiber cloth, warm water, and mild soap, then dry it with a clean cloth. You may also use a non-ammonia glass cleaner on exterior glass. Clean the glass cooktop separately using the cleaner and method recommended in the owner’s manual, such as CeramaBryte® for applicable models.
