CAFÉ Style Studio Terms & Conditions

 1. Overview

CAFÉ’s Style Studio (“Style Studio”) is a complimentary design guidance service provided by Haier U.S. Appliance Solutions, Inc. d/b/a GE Appliances (“Sponsor”) through its CAFÉ brand (“CAFÉ”). The purpose of the Style Studio is to help consumers overcome their residential kitchen design dilemmas through expert advice, visual inspiration, and curated recommendations centered around CAFÉ’s customizable appliance portfolio. The Style Studio will continue to accept requests for consultations until such time as Sponsor or CAFÉ, at its discretion, elects to discontinue the Style Studio.

2. Style Studio Offerings

  • Free, Personalized Design Guidance
    Style Studio is a no-cost service offering creative direction and advisory support to help move your kitchen project forward.
  • Expert Design Insight
    Recommendations are provided by experienced design partners of CAFÉ specializing in appliance styling, finishes, and visual cohesion.
  • CAFÉ Appliance Integration
    All design suggestions are built around CAFÉ appliance solutions and style-forward product pairings.
  • Partner Product Recommendations
    Style Studio may include curated product guidance from trusted brands such as:
    • Sherwin-Williams (paint)
    • Rejuvenation (lighting & hardware)
    • Kohler (fixtures)
    • Unique Kitchens & Baths (cabinetry)
    • Or other brands as updated from time to time.
  • Moodboards & Style Concepts
    Guidance may include visual palettes and finish pairings but will not include technical plans or drawings.
  • Virtual Consultations Only
    All interactions occur digitally (either via email, telephone, or video conferencing at the discretion and agreement of the respective consumer and design partner) and are subject to availability of participating design partners.

3. What We Do Not Offer

  • No 2D or 3D Renderings
    Style Studio does not provide renderings, elevation drawings, or detailed room layouts.
  • No Full-Service Interior Design
    The service is consultative and inspiration-based, not a full design engagement or contracted design package.
  • No Technical or Structural Advice
    Style Studio and its design partners do not advise on measurements, architecture, plumbing, electrical, or code compliance.
  • No Contractor or Installation Support
    CAFÉ does not coordinate, refer, or manage third-party contractors, installers, or designers.
  • No Order Placement
    Style Studio does not handle transactions or product purchases.

4. Eligibility

The following individuals are eligible to submit questions and requests to Style Studio:

  • Legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia
  • Individuals at least eighteen (18) years of age at the time of submission


Style Studio shall have sole discretion as to whether to respond to any particular submission, and submitting a request does not imply or guarantee that a consultation will be provided. Style Studio and its design partners may also end any ongoing consultation at any time at their discretion.

5. Use of Submissions

By participating in the Style Studio, you grant Sponsor and its affiliates a royalty-free, non-exclusive, irrevocable, worldwide license to use, modify, publish, and display your submitted design dilemma, comments, or materials—either in full or in part—for marketing, promotional, or internal use, without additional permission or compensation unless prohibited by law. The use or display of any submission does not constitute verification of eligibility, compliance with these terms and conditions, or a guarantee that Style Studio will provide further consultation.
Sponsor reserves the right to edit or adapt any submission for clarity, appropriateness, or formatting. Participants waive any moral rights or claims to control the future use of submitted content.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

All recommendations and responses are provided “AS IS” with no warranties or guarantees of any kind, express or implied. CAFÉ makes no representations about fitness for a particular purpose or project outcome. All decisions related to Style Studio participation and response quality are final and at Sponsor’s sole discretion.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor disclaims any liability for damages (direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential) that may arise from use of the Style Studio service. Participants assume full responsibility for any actions taken based on advice received through the Style Studio and neither Sponsor nor its affiliates or agents, including its design partners be liable for any actions, omissions, claims, expenses, or liabilities associated with the Style Studio or submissions thereto.  

8. Privacy & Data Use

Any personal information submitted to CAFÉ in connection with Style Studio will be used in accordance with GE Appliances' Privacy Policy, available at www.geappliances.com/privacy/privacy_center.htm.

9. Legal Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Kentucky, without regard for any conflict of law principles which would dictate the application of another state’s substantive laws. Any disputes shall be resolved individually, without class action, and exclusively in the courts of Jefferson County, Kentucky. The Style Studio, all submissions thereto, and all associated consultations are subject to applicable federal, state, and local laws.
