Shop the Look: Amber Guyton’s Blessed Little Bungalow

All across the U.S., clients have fallen in love with room designs by Amber Guyton. Her design company has provided homeowners from New York to Houston and beyond with gorgeous, yet affordable rooms that reflect their style and fit their needs. Blessed Little Bungalow started as a blog offering design ideas in 2016 and it became her full-time interior design business in 2021. Since then, Guyton’s designs have been featured in House Beautiful, Domino, Ebony, HGTV Magazine, and on her highly followed Instagram account.

Recently, Guyton brought her design skills back to her own kitchen. Her bungalow home, located in Atlanta, showcases her maximalist style in every room. Vivid colors, patterns, and accents gently guide you through her place. It’s truly a delight for the eyes—especially her kitchen, finished with Matte White CAFÉ appliances with Brushed Brass hardware. For the walls of her kitchen, Guyton chose Sherwin Williams paint in Natural Choice. This creamy, warm color brightens against the slightly darker, more alluring green cabinet color by Clare called Current Mood. The two colors harmonize beautifully with her CAFÉ Matte White appliances.

Not one for boring white ceilings, Guyton uses wallpaper to really bring lots of color and pattern to her rooms. Having a colorful print on the ceiling creates dimension and brings personality to a room, so don’t be afraid to try it in your own home. You’ll see this technique in several of Guyton’s rooms in her home and ones designed for her clients. For her kitchen, she chose her own Blessed Little Bungalow x Mitchell Black collab called Lowcountry Sweetgrass featuring a plum and peacock green. Her collaboration with Mitchell Black wallpapers offers colorful prints featuring abstract patterns, geometric designs, and even playful giraffes.

Guyton’s kitchen packs a lot into a smaller space. Her bungalow kitchen includes an island that houses her sink and CAFÉ CustomFit Smart Dishwasher along with space for counter seating on the opposite side. We love the pendant light fixtures by Hinkley Guyton hung above the island—those bright white globes set off the brass accents and tie in perfectly with the Matte White appliances and kitchen hardware. Her cabinets feature simple brushed-brass hexagonal pulls by CB2 that match her CAFÉ appliance hardware.

Even her faucet by Kohler has a Matte Black finish with a pop of Brushed Moderne Brass. And if she ever wants to change her look, she can bring in some new appliance hardware in Flat Black to go with her faucet. Said Guyton, “Design is a marathon, not a sprint. With CAFÉ’s customizable hardware, I can switch up the look of my appliances as easily as I change my maximalist mood.”

Beyond the style of her new CAFÉ dishwasher, Guyton gushes about its functionality. “I never thought I’d be excited about a dishwasher, but the CustomFit rack and Lid Caddy changed the game. Everything finally has a place to call home,” she said. The CustomFit top rack offers a third, topmost rack to place cooking utensils, silverware, and smaller items like ramekins. Its UltraWash zone provides powerful jets to target stuck-on food. It’s a feature you’re sure to love, too. And the Lid Caddy is a gamechanger. Fit small lids into the rack and they come out clean and dry when the cycle is done.

One appliance takes center stage in Guyton’s kitchen, though—her refrigerator. “The CAFÉ French Door Refrigerator is the hero piece of my kitchen—the LED light wall brightens my day every time I open it,” she said. Her smart, 4-door French door CAFÉ fridge offers a Dual Dispense AutoFill Pitcher inside, so she always has fresh, filtered water ready to drink. And its convertible drawer allows her to adjust the temperature to store meat, beverages, snacks, or even wine bottles. It’s super convenient for entertaining, too.

In her cooking space, Guyton chose the CAFÉ 36” All Gas Commercial Style Range. “As a busy entrepreneur that doesn’t cook often, my CAFÉ commercial-style range makes me feel like a pro and I’m spending more time in my kitchen preparing meals than ever before,” she said. This CAFÉ stove features a large, 6.2 cu. ft. capacity oven to fit even full-size catering pans. And its two high-heat burners boil water quickly for more cooking power. Guyton also made space for a CAFÉ Convection Over-the-Range Microwave to sit above her CAFÉ BELLISSIMO Semi-Automatic Espresso Machine. Just because it’s an over-the-range microwave doesn’t mean it has to go directly over your range—we love her creative placement. It’s a smart use of space and it puts her CAFÉ microwave on full display.

Guyton also included a CAFÉ Express Finish Toaster to round out her countertop appliances. Its elegant design features extra wide slots to toast artisanal breads, English muffins, and bagels with ease. And you’ll get beautiful toast in about a minute thanks to the Quick Toast mode—perfect for a busy morning.
